Shor joins a program led by Mora, who was out of coaching and working as a television analyst after he spent 6 seasons (2012-17) leading UCLA to a 46-30 record. Mora replaced Randy Edsall, who stepped down in September.
Last year was UConn’s first as an independent, and the Huskies as a program have not had a winning season since 2010, as they’ve reached just one bowl game.
